The Alexander Technology Group is searching for a Senior Java Engineer to join a client in Braintree MA as a full-time permanent hire on a hybrid in office and remote schedule. The Role:
You will be developing and enhancing the digital infrastructure to provide service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, relational databases, microservices architecture, and API development working to provide a scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities:

•  Design, develop, and maintain reusable, and reliable Java code.
•  Implement high-performance applications using the Spring Boot framework.
•  Develop and maintain microservices.
•  Design and implement databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
•  Develop APIs for internal and external use.

Experience:

• Strong experience with Java Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Java 17 experience 
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
